The UK Network convenes regular Quarterly Meetings to provide network participants and guests with a forum to share experiences and knowledge about how best to integrate the UN Global Compact’s ten principles into business strategy and practice, as well as to receive updates on network and working group activities and to keep informed of developments at the Global Compact HQ.
The network also hosts Outreach Events with the objective of raising awareness of the Global Compact and the Network. These events are open to non-network members.

UK Network Quarterly Meeting: Environment Issue Area
15 September, 2010, hosted by Aviva in London.
Presentation themes will be concerned with the transition to a low-carbon economy. Topics will include eco-system services and the “Green Economy”. Speakers will include Oliver Greenfield, WWF; other presenters to be confirmed.
UK Business and the MDGs
18 October, 2010, hosted by RBS in London.
Presentation themes will be concerned with examining the UK's contribution to achieving the MDGs and how we can do more. Speakers are to be confirmed.
UK Network Quarterly Meeting: Anti-Corruption Issue Area
22 November, 2010, London. Date and venue to be confirmed.
Presentation themes will be defined closer to the date to ensure relevance to current events. However, potential topics include the Global Compact reporting guidelines and the UK Bribery Bill. Speakers will include Robert Barrington, Transparency International; other presenters to be confirmed.

13 December, 2010, hosted by BIS in London. Date to be confirmed.
Following on from successful events in 2008 and 2009, the UK Network and BIS will collaborate again. BIS to host and provide a high profile government speaker(s) and the UK Network to provide other speakers.
