| The UK Network of the UN Global Compact is a UK focal point for signatories of this voluntary corporate citizenship initiative. The UK Network aims to further the Global Compact's 10 principles that cover human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption and serves members through regular meetings to share best practice and working groups that are active in areas such as reporting, small and medium-sized enterprises, communications, and liaison with other networks.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to protecting the integrity of the Global Compact, the Global Compact Office delisted 859 companies between 1 October 2009 and 1 January 2010 for failing to adhere to the initiative's public disclosure policy. As Global Compact signatories, companies are required to issue an annual progress report covering their implementation of the ten principles. Failure to communicate for more than one year leads to a company being delisted.
